Krishna Bhakti ("we", "our", "us") operates the website krishnbhakti.com. This page explains exactly what data we collect, what we store, and what we send to third-party services.

What We Store on Our Servers

We do not run our own database. The only data we store is in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud database):

• Blog comments — When you post a comment on a blog page, we store your name, comment text, and timestamp in Firebase. This is necessary to display comments on the blog. You can request deletion anytime.
• Published content — Daily shlokas, blog articles, panchang calendar data, and horoscopes. These are published by us (the site owner) and are public content.

That's it. We do not store your kundli data, palm images, questions, or any other personal information on any server.

What We Store in Your Browser (localStorage)

For your convenience, some data is cached locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you submit it via a form:

• Kundli profile — Your name, date/time/place of birth (so you don't have to re-enter it)
• Palm analysis cache — Your palm analysis result text
• Gemini API key — Only if you use the Share Tool page, your API key is saved locally

You can clear all of this anytime via your browser settings.

What We Send to Third-Party APIs (Not Stored)

When you use our interactive tools, data is sent to external APIs for real-time processing. It is not stored by us or by the API provider beyond the duration of the request:

• PythonAnywhere (our backend server) — Receives kundli data (name, DOB, TOB, place of birth, coordinates), palm images (base64), and questions for real-time calculation. Nothing is logged or stored.
• Google Gemini API — Receives your question text (Gita GPT), palm images, or kundli data for AI-generated responses. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We use only one cookie of our own: cookieConsent — a simple flag to remember that you accepted the cookie banner (expires after 1 year).

Google Analytics sets its own cookies for anonymous usage tracking. You can opt out via the cookie banner or browser settings.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. This data is anonymous and does not include your name, birth details, or any personally identifiable information. Google may retain this data per their policy.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
• Firebase Firestore — Cloud database for blog comments and published content
• PythonAnywhere — Backend API server for astrology calculations, palm analysis, Gita GPT
• Google Gemini API — AI model for Gita GPT responses, palm analysis, and daily horoscope generation
• Amazon Associates — Affiliate links (no personal data shared)

Data Retention

• Blog comments — Stored in Firebase until you request deletion
• localStorage data — Stays in your browser until you clear it
• Analytics data — Retained by Google Analytics for 26 months
• API request data — Discarded immediately after the response is sent

Your Rights

• Delete blog comment — Email us at kshvchvr@gmail.com and we will remove it from Firebase
• Clear browser data — Use your browser settings to clear localStorage and cookies
• Opt out of analytics — Use the cookie banner or a browser extension like Ghostery

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
